v-rel reticuloendotheliosis viral oncogene homolog (avian), also known as REL, is a human gene. The protein encoded by the human REL gene is a member of the NF-κB family of transcription factors. The REL gene is amplified or mutated in several human B-cell lymphomas, including diffuse large B-cell lymphomas and Hodgkin's lymphomas.
