Verzegnis is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 100 km northwest of Trieste and about 40 km northwest of Udine. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 913 and an area of 38.8 km².[1]
Verzegnis borders the following municipalities: Cavazzo Carnico, Enemonzo, Preone, Tolmezzo, Tramonti di Sotto, Villa Santina, Vito d'Asio.
