Lusevera (Slovenian Bardo) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 80 km northwest of Trieste and about 20 km north of Udine, on the border with Slovenia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 767 and an area of 52.9 km².[1] According to the census 1971 76,6% of the population are Slovenians.
The municipality of Lusevera contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Cesariis, Micottis, Musi, Pers, Pradielis, Vedronza, and Villanova.
Lusevera borders the following municipalities: Kobarid (Slovenia), Gemona del Friuli, Montenars, Nimis, Resia, Taipana, Tarcento, Venzone.
