Pocenia is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 60 km northwest of Trieste and about 30 km southwest of Udine. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,581 and an area of 23.9 km².[1]
The municipality of Pocenia contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Torsa, Roveredo, and Paradiso.
Pocenia borders the following municipalities: Castions di Strada, Muzzana del Turgnano, Palazzolo dello Stella, Rivignano, Talmassons, Teor.
