Artegna is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 80 km northwest of Trieste and about 20 km northwest of Udine. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,002 and an area of 11.2 km².[1]
Artegna borders the following municipalities: Buja, Gemona del Friuli, Magnano in Riviera, Montenars, Treppo Grande.
