Vöran (Italian: Verano; German: Vöran; Archaic (1186): Verano) is a comune (municipality) in the province of Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 60 km north of the city of Trento and about 14 km northwest of the city of Bolzano. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 890 and an area of 22.1 km².[1]
Vöran borders the following municipalities: Hafling, Mölten, Merano, Burgstall, and Sarntal.
