Naturns (Naturno) (Italian: Naturno; German: Naturns; Archaic (1109 AD): Naturnes) is a comune (municipality) in the province of Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 70 km north of the city of Trento and about 40 km northwest of the city of Bolzano (de. Bozen). As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,148 and an area of 67.0 km².[1]
The municipality of Naturns (Naturno) contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Staben (Stava) and Tabland (Tablà).
Naturns (Naturno) borders the following municipalities: Kastelbell-Tschars (Castelbello-Ciardes), Algund (Lagundo), Lana, Partschins (Parcines), Plaus, St. Pankraz (S. Pacrazio), Schnals (Senales), and Ulten (Ultimo).
