Nals (Italian: Nalles; German: Nals) is a comune (municipality) in the province of Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 50 km north of the city of Trento and about 13 km northwest of the city of Bolzano. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,634 and an area of 12.3 km².[1]
The municipality of Nals (Nalles) contains the frazione (subdivision) Sirmiano.
Nals (Nalles) borders the following municipalities: Andrian (Andriano), Eppan (Appiano), Gargazon (Gargazzone), Unsere Liebe Frau im Walde-St. Felix (Senale-San Felice), Terlan (Terlano), and Tisens (Tesimo).
