Terenten (German) or Terento (Italian) is a comune (municipality) in Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 100 km northeast of Trento and about 50 km northeast of Bolzano. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,644 and an area of 42.5 km².[1]
The municipality of Terenten contains the frazione (subdivision) Colli in Pusteria.
Terenten borders the following municipalities: Kiens, Mühlwald, and Vintl.
