Partschins (Parcines) (Italian: Parcines; German: Partschins; Archaic (1087AD): Parzins, Parzinnes, Parcindes) is a comune (municipality) in the province of Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 70 km north of the city of Trento and about 30 km northwest of the city of Bolzano (de. Bozen). As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,313 and an area of 55.4 km².[1]
The municipality of Partschins (Parcines) contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Montesole, Quadrato, Rablà, Tablà, Tel, and Vallettina.
Partschins (Parcines) borders the following municipalities: Algund (Lagundo), Lana, Marling (Marlengo), Moos in Passeier (Moso in Passiria), Naturns (Naturno), Plaus, Schnals (Senales), and Tirol (Tirolo).
