Lüsen (Luson) (Italian: Luson; German: Lüsen; Archaic (882AD): Lusina) is a comune (municipality) in the province of Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 90 km northeast of the city of Trento and about 40 km northeast of the city of Bolzano (de. Bozen). As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,475 and an area of 74.2 km².[1]
The municipality of Lüsen (Luson) contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Monte, Pezzè, Ronco, and Valletta.
Lüsen (Luson) borders the following municipalities: Brixen (Bressanone), Mareo (Marebbe), Natz-Schabs (Naz-Sciaves), Rodeneck (Rodengo), St. Lorenzen (San Lorenzo), and San Martin (San Martino).
