Natz-Schabs (Italian: Naz-Sciaves; German: Natz-Schabs; Archaic (1050 AD): Nouzas, Nouces, Natz e Scouvis, Scoubes, and Schabs) is a comune (municipality) in the province of Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 90 km northeast of the city of Trento and about 40 km northeast of the city of Bolzano. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,603 and an area of 15.8 km².[1]
The municipality of Natz-Schabs (Naz-Sciaves) contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Achia (Aica), Raas (Rasa), and Viums (Fiumes).
Natz-Schabs (Naz-Sciaves) borders the following municipalities: Brixen (Bressanone), Franzensfeste (Fortezza), Lüsen (Luson), Mühlbach (Rio di Pusteria), Rodeneck (Rodengo), and Vahrn (Varna).
