Marling (Italian: Marlengo; Archaic (1102 AD): Marnea, Marniga, Merniga, Marlinga, Marninga) is a comune (municipality) in the province of Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 60 km north of Trento and about 25 km northwest of Bolzano. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,268 and an area of 12.8 km².[1]
Marling borders the following municipalities: Tscherms, Algund, Lana, Merano and Partschins.
