Villarbasse is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 20 km west of Turin. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,894 and an area of 10.4 km².[1]
Villarbasse borders the following municipalities: Rivoli, Rosta, Reano, Rivalta di Torino, and Sangano.
Last executions in Italy took place on March 4, 1947, following the Villarbasse massacre.
