Romano Canavese is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 40 km northeast of Turin. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,953 and an area of 11.2 km².[1]
The municipality of Romano Canavese contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Cascine di Romano and Canton Moretti.
Romano Canavese borders the following municipalities: Ivrea, Pavone Canavese, Strambino, Perosa Canavese, Scarmagno, and Mercenasco.
