Agliè is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 35 km north of Turin. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,645 and an area of 13.3 km².[1]
The municipality of Agliè contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Madonna delle Grazie, Santa Maria, and San Grato.
The castello in Agliè was used as the location for the popular Italian telenovela Elisa di Rivombrosa [1] [2] [3] as Rivombrosa.
Agliè borders the following municipalities: San Martino Canavese, Torre Canavese, Bairo, Vialfrè, Cuceglio, San Giorgio Canavese, and Ozegna.
