Claviere is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 80 km west of Turin, on the border with France. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 176 and an area of 2.7 km².[1]
Claviere borders the following municipalities: Cesana Torinese, Montgenèvre (France).
Claviere is also a small, but well equipped skiing village with many 3-4* hotels with easy access to the slopes. The snow season lasts from December to about late January to Early February.
