Mercenasco is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 35 km northeast of Turin. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,205 and an area of 12.6 km².[1]
The municipality of Mercenasco contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Villate.
Mercenasco borders the following municipalities: Romano Canavese, Strambino, Scarmagno, Cuceglio, Montalenghe, Candia Canavese, Orio Canavese, and Barone Canavese.
