Traversella is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 50 km north of Turin. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 372 and an area of 39.4 km².[1]
The municipality of Traversella contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Chiara, Cappia, Succinto, Delpizzen, Cantoncello, Fondo, and Tallorno.
Traversella borders the following municipalities: Pontboset, Donnas, Valprato Soana, Quincinetto, Ronco Canavese, Tavagnasco, Brosso, Trausella, Meugliano, Ingria, Frassinetto, Vico Canavese, and Castelnuovo Nigra.
