KLCX (103.9 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a classic hits format. Licensed to Eyota, Minnesota, it serves the Rochester, Minnesota metropolitan area. It first began broadcasting in 1985. The station is currently owned by Cumulus Media.
[edit] History
KLCX began on the 107.7 frequency, which is now KDZZ, and moved to 103.9 on April 1, 2008. The call letters were originally assigned to a station in the Palm Springs, California market in the early 1990s but were surrendered when its new owners changed the format to smooth jazz and the call letters to KJJZ.
