Top 40 station for Grand Junction, Co. for many years, then turned to Adult Contemporary in the mid to late 1970's. Some of the the disc jockeys from 1980-1981 were; Program Director/Afternnon drive dj Mike Connors, Morning man Ted Douglas, middays Rick Lawrence, nights Bryan Bradford, orvernights Robin Kay and weekenders, Mitch Mahan & Marty Mc Crae. The six-foot purple aardvark was "Kek-so's" mascot. "Music & More 1230 KEXO" was its slogan.
