Nickelodeon in Ireland is a cable and satellite TV network. The version in Ireland is based on the American and British versions of the same channel, known as Nickelodeon Ireland. It was launched in 2004. The channel features some local content, advertising and sponsorship, but is generally a simualcast of Nickelodeon in the UK. Nickelodeon also operates a specialised version for Nick Jr. Ireland.
