VH1 Denmark is music channel targeting Danish adults in the ages 25-50.
The channel launched on March 15, 2008 at 10 p.m. In the analogue offer from the major cable network, Yousee, it will replace a timeshare between the channel's Pan-European equivalent VH1 Europe and the erotic channel Private Blue. It will broadcast between 12 p.m. and 6 a.m., broadcasting Nickelodeon Scandinavia in the morning. The smaller cable network Stofa will also offer the channel. [1] Both satellite distributors, Canal Digital and Viasat, will however not broadcast the Danish channel, continuing their relays of VH1 Europe instead.
Dedicated Danish programming for the channel is at the launch limited to a weekly chart show hosted by the radio personality Dan Rachlin. The rest of the schedule will be made up of music videos and content from various channels from MTV Networks.
