College Publisher

College Publisher is an online hosted college newspaper system used by hundreds of college newspapers around the United States. The product is an application service provider that provides web site design and hosting. In exchange for providing the web hosting service, the company receives national advertising rights on website, the email news version, and the physical print edition of the newspaper. College Publisher currently has partnered with more than 450 publications nationwide, comprising the largest network of online student newspapers in the United States.
College Publisher was created in 1999 by Emerson College students and is largely operated by recent graduates. The system is owned by Y2M Networks, located in Government Center, Boston, Massachusetts, which was purchased in August 2006 by mtvU.[1]
