KSEG has been programming this format since November 12, 1990, when it flipped from a Rhythmic Contemporary format when it was KROY. They also serve as the complementary sister station to News/Talk KCTC, Active Rock KRXQ, Modern Rock KWOD, Smooth Jazz KSSJ and Top 40 Mainstream KDND.
