KSTE (650 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a News Talk Information format. Licensed to Rancho Cordova, California, USA, the station serves the Sacramento area. The station is currently owned by Clear Channel Communications and features programing from ABC Radio , CNN Radio and Westwood One.[2]

The station is programmed as a complement "second tier" talk station to its more dominant sister station KFBK. Personalities heard on KSTE include Armstrong & Getty, Clark Howard, Dr. Laura Schlessinger, Michael Savage, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Bill O'Reilly, and Jim Bohannon.

Armstrong & Getty: Jack Armstrong and Joe Getty joined KSTE in 1986 and now have one of the highest rated morning radio shows in Northern California. They can also be heard on 910AM (KNEW) San Francisco. In November of 2007 the station fired long time Sacramento radio personality Phil Cowan making Armstrong and Getty the only live local weekday talkshow on KSTE.[citation needed]
