KYMX is commercial radio station located in Sacramento, California, broadcasting on 96.1 FM. The station airs an adult contemporary music format branded as "Mix 96".

Mix 96 went on the air in 1990, replacing KCTC, a beautiful music/"California Sound" station. KCTC, in turn, had moved to adult standards-formatted 1320 AM. Mix 96 has been a soft rock station since then, its playlist covering three decades of music.

KYMX's HD2 subcarrier, which has yet to sign on, will offer a Oldies format focusing on music from the 1950s and 1960s^[1].
