[edit] History
Mix 96 went on the air in 1990, replacing KCTC, a beautiful music/"California Sound" station. KCTC, in turn, had moved to adult standards-formatted 1320 AM. Mix 96 has been a soft rock station since then, its playlist covering three decades of music.
[edit] KYMX-HD2
KYMX's HD2 subcarrier, which has yet to sign on, will offer a Oldies format focusing on music from the 1950s and 1960s[1].
