Teletoon Retro (stylized as TELETOON Retro) is a Canadian English language category 2 digital cable specialty channel based on the Teletoon programming block Teletoon Retro. The service consists of animation series from Canada and around the world, all of which commenced production at least 10 years prior to their exhibition. Teletoon Retro is owned by Teletoon Canada Inc; a 50/50 partnership between Astral Media and Corus Entertainment.
Teletoon Retro was launched at 6:00 pm EDT on October 1, 2007. Teletoon Retro is currently available nationally on Bell ExpressVu and Star Choice. Teletoon Retro is also offered on many cable systems across Canada.
A French language counterpart, titled Télétoon Rétro has been licensed as early as October 2005,[1] and will launch September 2008.[2]
