CFEL-FM

CFEL-FM is a French-language Canadian radio station located in Montmagny, Quebec.

Owned and operated by Corus Entertainment, the station broadcasts on 102.1 MHz using a directional antenna with an average effective radiated power of 25,709 watts and a peak effective radiated power of 100,000 watts (class C1). It has an adult contemporary music format, although some talk programs from co-owned CHMP-FM and CKAC in Montreal are now being aired.

The station identifies itself as 102,1 FM. Its logo is strangely similar to the one used by other Corus-owned FM talk stations such as CHMP-FM and CJRC-FM, which has led to speculation the station will adopt a fulltime talk format targeting Quebec City.

CFEL-FM received its first licence in December 1986 and replaced CKBM 1490, an unrelated station which closed due to a bankruptcy in 1983. [1]
