Historia is a Canadian French language cable television specialty channel which presents informative and entertainment programming related to history in the form of dramas, films, documentaries, human interests programs and more. The channel is owned by Astral Media and CW Media (a division of Canwest and GS Capital Partners).

Licensed by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) as Canal Historie to Alliance Atlantis and Premier Choix Networks (Astral), the channel was launched on January 31, 2000 as Historia.
On January 18, 2008, a joint venture between Canwest and GS Capital Partners bought Alliance Atlantis and gained AAC's interest in Historia.
