Discovery Health is a Canadian English language category 1 digital cable specialty channel owned by CW Media (a division of Canwest and GS Capital Partners) and Discovery Communications. The channel features a variety of programming based on human health issues, wellness, medicine and related subjects.

Licensed as Health Network Canada by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) on November 24, 2000; it was launched as Discovery Health Channel on August 15, 2001.

On January 18, 2008, a joint venture between Canwest and GS Capital Partners bought Alliance Atlantis and gained AAC's interest in Discovery Health.
