[edit] Music and structure
"Jingle Balls" is a death metal-flavored rendition of the Christmas classic, "Jingle Bells", featured on a bonus EP included with Issues. A slightly different version with bagpipes was debuted at Los Angeles, California radio station KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas in December 1998.[1]
[edit] Concept
"Wake Up" was written during Korn's Family Values Tour in 1998, based around the interpersonal conflicts that nearly broke up the band.[2] This can be noted in the lyrics: "No more fighting; I swear I'm gonna leave."
