[edit] Main card

Horn defeats Prangley by close unanimous decision, to which the crowd responded with mixed reactions.
In one of the more anticipated bouts of the evening, Georges St. Pierre defeats Sean Sherk by technical knockout by strikes at 2:53 of round two.
UFC Welterweight Champion, Matt Hughes defeats Joe Riggs by submission (kimura) at 3:28 of round one. Riggs was brought in as a replacement for Karo Parisyan, who suffered an injury in his training leading up to the bout. Although originally scheduled as a championship match, Riggs could not make the required weight at 170 lb (he came in at 171 lb) and the bout was changed to a non-title welterweight match, where there is a 1 lb allowance.
Gonzaga defeats Jordan by knockout at 4:39 of round three. Despite the exciting finish, the bout was considered by some to be uneventful up to that point, inciting boos from the audience and criticism from the ringside announcers.

It was later learned that Gonzaga's child died days before the fight.

In the main event of the evening, Middleweight champion, Rich Franklin, defends his title and defeats Nathan Quarry by knockout at 2:34 of round one.
