Waterview Tower is a mixed used development under construction in downtown Chicago, Illinois. Scheduled for completion in 2009, it will be the fifth tallest building in Chicago and the third tallest residential building at 319 meters (1,047 feet and 1/2 inch) 90 stories tall.

According to sources at Teng Construction, and a Chicago Tribune business news article, funding for the project has been difficult to secure. However, it was announced on April 16, 2008 that a $300MM dollar loan was secured from a Chinese bank.

Nonetheless, all construction at the site had been stopped for over a week, and a notice of natural gas termination was posted to the main entry gate on April 30, 2008, suggesting that perhaps not all the financial woes are fully resolved.
