Spilamberto is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Modena in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 25 km west of Bologna and about 10 km southeast of Modena. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 11,376 and an area of 29.5 km².[1]
Spilamberto borders the following municipalities: Castelnuovo Rangone, Castelvetro di Modena, Modena, San Cesario sul Panaro, Savignano sul Panaro, Vignola. Famous in June is the Fiera di San Giovanni, attracting a lot of people in the town, Spilamberto is famous for Balsamic Vinegar and other typical products of the region.
