Marano sul Panaro is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Modena in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 30 km west of Bologna and about 20 km south of Modena. As of February 2007, it had a population of 4,150 with the highest growth rate of the whole province of Modena (+ 3.7%) and an area of 45.2 km².[1]
