Pievepelago is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Modena in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 70 km southwest of Bologna and about 60 km southwest of Modena. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,194 and an area of 76.5 km².[1]
Pievepelago borders the following municipalities: Barga, Castiglione di Garfagnana, Coreglia Antelminelli, Fiumalbo, Fosciandora, Frassinoro, Pieve Fosciana, Riolunato.
