Punggol MRT/LRT Station (NE17/PTC) is a MRT and LRT interchange station of the North East Line and the Punggol Light Rail Transit in Singapore.

[edit] History

The station was to have been unopened when the North East Line opened together with Potong Pasir and Woodleigh Stations when the government gave the go ahead to build the North East Line in 1996 as Punggol 21 was still undeveloped then. But as more developments of Punggol 21 were progressively unveiled, the station was opened with the rest of the line in 2003.
