Bayfront MRT station (DT4), is an underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Downtown Line Stage 1 in Singapore that is under construction, formerly known as the Downtown Extension. It will connect the proposed integrated resort at Marina Bay[1] to the Circle MRT Line and the Downtown MRT Line, linking the place with the entire MRT system. This station will improve connectivity and accessibility in the area and from other lines, as much of it is recently reclaimed land to be developed in the next ten to twenty years.
The Circle Line will be extended to this station from Promenade towards Marina Bay, expected to be the start of Stage 6 of the Circle Line from Promenade to HarbourFront also via Tanjong Pagar stations.
