Pakistani passport

Pakistani passports are issued to the citizens of Pakistan for the purpose of international travel. Directorate General Immigration and Passports of Ministry of Interior is responsible for issuing the passport. Pakistan's new Machine Readable or Biometric passports are currently being issued from regional passports offices at the following stations:

Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Quetta, Peshawar, Swat, Bannu, Abbottabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Kohat, Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Sargodha, Hyderabad, Sukkar, Larkana, Zhob, D I Khan, Multan, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad and Dera Ghazi Khan domestically.

Internationally it is issued in Dubai, Jeddah, New Delhi, Rome, Oslo, Frankfurt, London, New York, Los Angeles, Toronto.

According to a study done by Henley & Partners, Pakistan has a Henley Visa Restrictions Index of 17, which means that Pakistani citizens enjoy visa-free access to 17 countries and territories for short-term tourism visits. Pakistan is ranked 79th in terms of international travel freedom, which is one of the lowest scores in the study.
