Mahabubnagar District, is a district in Andhra Pradesh, India, with its headquarters at Mahabubnagar. The district has a population of 3,513,934, of which 10.57% is urban (as of 2001).[1] Other towns of importance in the district are Narayanpet, Achampet, Gadwal, Wanaparthy, Jadcherla, Kalwakurthy,Shadnagar, and Nagarkurnool.
