Juneyao Airlines (Chinese: 吉祥航空; pinyin: Jíxiáng Hángkōng) is an airline based in Shanghai, China. It is a private airline operating domestic services from Shanghai. Its main base is Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport.[1]

The airline was approved to establish in June 2005 and started operations on 18 September 2006.[citation needed]
In May 2007, the Juneyao Group announced that it was seeking a strategic investor to assist the long-term development of its Juneyao Airlines subsidiary. The airline was profitable in April 2007 and also expects to achieve a full-year profit[2].

Juneyao Airlines has announced that it plans to order a mixture of up to 30 A320 and A350 aircraft.
