Air China Cargo Co., Ltd. is a cargo airline based in Beijing, China. It is an all-cargo subsidiary of Air China and operates services to 36 cities in 27 countries around the world. Its main base is Beijing Capital International Airport[1].

The airline was established on 12 December 2003 and started operations in 2003. It is owned by Air China (51%), CITIC Pacific (25%) and Beijing Capital International(24%) and has 1,818 employees (at March 2007)[1].

On 29 July 2004, Boeing confirmed an order by Air China Cargo for two Boeing 747-400 Freighters, valued at approximately $400 million at list prices. The first aircraft was scheduled for delivery in November 2005, followed by the second delivery in March 2006.

The freighters are used on Air China Cargo's routes between China and North America.[citation needed]. A new route recently opened is a three times weekly service to Manchester Airport in the United Kingdom using the Boeing 747-400F (September 2007)
