Horsepen Lake Wildlife Management Area

Horsepen Lake Wildlife Management Area is a protected area located in Buckingham County, Virginia. Its 2910 acres sit at about 500 feet above sea level on the southeastern part of the drainage area of the Slate River. It supports many growths of pine and hardwood, especially oak and hickory trees. Horsepen Lake is also located on the property.
