Highway 28A

Highway 28A is a highway located in north central Alberta.

The first section of the highway (about 14 km long) begins in the city of Edmonton along Highway 37 as an extension of 17th Street NE. It proceeds north past the town of Gibbons where it joins Highway 28

[edit] Second Section (up until November 2006)

The second section begins at the hamlet of Ashmont. While Highway 28 goes south to the town of St. Paul, Highway 28A continues in an easterly direction.

This section of Highway 28A was re-numbered Highway 28 as of November 1, 2006.
