Highway 11 is a major highway in central Alberta. It is known as the David Thompson Highway, and runs from Saskatchewan River Crossing in Banff National Park east through Nordegg, Alberta, Rocky Mountain House, and Red Deer until it connects with Highway 12, 20 km west of Stettler.

It intersects Highway 734 at Nordegg, Cowboy Trail at Rocky Mountain House, Queen Elizabeth II Highway, Highway 2A at Red Deer and Highway 21 near Alix.

It has recently been upgraded from a two-lane highway, to a four-lane divided highway, from the City of Red Deer to Highway 20.
