WRSE is Elmhurst College’s campus radio station serving eastern and central DuPage County from Elmhurst.

  • 1947 - WRSE started as carrier-current station by communication vets returning from WWII. WRSE stands for Wired Radio Station Elmhurst.
  • 1964 - WRSE signs on at 88.7 FM with 10 watts.
  • 1986 - WRSE boosts power to 100 watts with a directional pattern.
  • 2006 – Station begins operation under a construction permit filed with the FCC to increase station power to 320 watts.
