Villa Guardia is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 35 km northwest of Milan and about 6 km southwest of Como. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,879 and an area of 7.7 km².[1]
The municipality of Villa Guardia contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Maccio, Civello, Masano, Brugo, and Mosino.
Villa Guardia borders the following municipalities: Bulgarograsso, Cassina Rizzardi, Gironico, Grandate, Luisago, Lurate Caccivio, Montano Lucino.
