Albavilla is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 35 km north of Milan and about 8 km east of Como. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,070 and an area of 10.6 km².[1]
The municipality of Albavilla contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Carcano, Corogna, Vill'Albese, Molena, and Saruggia.
Albavilla borders the following municipalities: Albese con Cassano, Alserio, Erba, Faggeto Lario, Monguzzo, Orsenigo.
