[edit] TfD nomination of Template:JJFRS character

Template:JJFRS character has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for Deletion page. Thank you. Magioladitis (talk) 21:15, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] The Office title image

I reverted the version you uploaded to the one I had originally uploaded, as yours was too large to comply with FUC 3b. Screenshots are usually to be kept to 300px or so, just large enough to display in an infobox as this one was. Daniel Case (talk) 18:41, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Prospero Cross Section.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Prospero Cross Section.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:15, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Squamish/Skwxwu7mesh changes

I'm reserving judgement on much of your recent edits to these articles; it's in the case of your excision of material from the table of villages on the main Skwxwu7mesh page that I take exception to. Quoi-quoi / Whoi whoi or whatever it is you've leftis NOT the only English variant; there are at least six, maybe ten, over the time of years since teh placename first became known otuside indigenous speakers; likwise the variants of Snauq which you decided weren't good enough. In all such lists/tables in Wiki with "alternate names" there's no call for only ONE alternate name/adaptation; you seem to ahve taken the position that only teh ones YOU know of, or approve of, are correct. That's POV, and it's also deletion of materials - plus some completely unnecessary bolding which at the moment, as it's dinnertime, I'm in no mood to take out but will advise you that unstylistic edits combined with questionable content edits are not a good sign that your edits were in good faith; you seem o have an agenda. Please respect the contributinos of other editors and do not delete materials without consultation on the talkpage - in this case a discussion which would have inevitably led to its refusal, as you have no good reason why the otehr alternative names should not be there - and the bolding of only the English versions of the names is in itself questionable; but such boldings wouldnt' even be welcome if it was the Skwxwu7mesh names column. I haven't reviewedd your other extensive edits t o this area, and msut presume you have some kind of interest in the Squamish, given your apparent (presumptive) knowledge of what's right and what's not. Your changes to lead sentences in certain articles, by thew ay, are likely to start edit wars; your use of the Sqamish link (which if not a disambig goes to the District of Squamish, according to wiki nameguidelines) was ill-advised and somewhat confrontational.....Skookum1 (talk) 21:10, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

Hello The Man in Question! I was going to leave a message for you but I've seen my friend Skookum1 already has. I'm going to do my best to be as diplomatic as I can with courtesy and respect for people whom I'm hoping I can collaborate with on Wikipedia. The last time (when I first came here) me and this one guy bumped heads a lot, but now work together on a lot of articles. But I guess that's beside the point.
I noticed all the edits you've made and stopped looking at them individually after I seen a few. I agree with Skookum that I can only assume you have some kind of agenda. We would like to know what it is. Most of the edits, like name changes, were ill advices and are annoying for contributors who have worked on those pages. Like Skookum said, discussion is needed for changes like that. A few of your edits were strange, like Schenks and Schètx̱w. There was a few edits that I actually liked and forgot to do myself, so thanks for doing that for me. haha. Anyways, I would like to encourage you to take your idea's and thoughts to the discussion page of those articles and research more into what your changes. Not extensively, but ask around maybe? In any case, thanks for helping out in your contributions and I hope we can work together on making good wikipedia articles. OldManRivers (talk) 06:38, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Patrick (SpongeBob SquarePants)

I have nominated Patrick (SpongeBob SquarePants), an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Patrick (SpongeBob SquarePants). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Ged UK (talk) 10:20, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
